Ask A Vet & Speaker Logistics
Thank you for supporting the San Diego House Rabbit Society. We’re so excited to have you help us at the Ask A Vet Booth at the San Diego Bunnyfest! We appreciate your participation and so do our shelter bunnies. Here’s what you need to know to ensure your day with us runs smoothly.
All proceeds go towards defraying medical expenses for our shelter bunnies.
Upon arrival, you should check in either of the entrance booths and pick up a volunteer wrist band, and then proceed to the Education Booth. We will have a volunteer at the booth who will have the schedule of events and be able to answer any questions you might have. Please plan on arriving 15 - 20 minutes prior to your shift or session. Please note, the Ask A Vet Booth is right next to the Education Booth for your convenience.
The shift schedule can be found using this link: https://www.sandiegobunnyfest.org/schedule-of-events or https://www.sandiegobunnyfest.org/ask-a-vet
The schedule is below.
Following your shift, we encourage you to spend some time exploring our different booths and vendors that will be participating:
Vendor List — 2024 — SDHRS Bunnyfest (sandiegobunnyfest.org)
We will also have food and beverage vendors on hand serving yummy treats:
Eat & Drink — SDHRS Bunnyfest (sandiegobunnyfest.org)
Thank you again for volunteering your time; we appreciate all that you do for the bunnies!

Site Map
You can find Ask A Vet Booth next to the Education booth location on the site map to the right.
Liberty Station tends to be breezy so you may want to bring canopy weights and paperweights for any handouts. It’s also in the flight path so anticipate overhead airplane noise from time to time. Please be patient when you arrive and during the booth set-up process as Liberty Station is a new venue for us.
Parking & Unloading
For all speakers, you will have reserved spots in the parking lot with your name directly adjacent to Bunnyfest. See photo below:
Checking In
After the event begins, please go through the admissions area and let them know that you are a guest speaker. They will direct you to check in at the Info Booth, #77. This is where you will receive your wristband. Please wear your wristbands during the entire event. Please check-in with Team Lead at the Education Booth about 15-20 min before your session begins at the Education Booth or the Ask a Vet Booth.
Interviews
SDHRS will be conducting interviews with as many booth vendors, guests, volunteers and speakers as we can. If you do not want to be interviewed on camera, please let us know at bunnyfest@sandiegorabbits.org. The questions will vary depending on your company, products and services. They want to give the experience of being at Bunnyfest for our supporters who cannot attend the event in person. These videos will go on our website and social media pages.
